Join the Madog Center for Welsh Studies and Bossard Memorial Library for an exciting day of Welsh culture, language, music, crafts, and games on either Monday, June 8 or Tuesday, June 9 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. There will be an open house for families from 2:30 PM -- 3:00 PM.
This free Welsh Kids Camp is a fun cultural experience for kids ages 7-12. Please note that this is a full-day camp and participants must bring a packed lunch.
- 8:30 AM -- Registration, arrival of participants
- 9:00 AM -- Welcome, ice breakers, and Language 1
- 10:30 AM -- Snack break (snacks provided)
- 11:00 AM -- Group folk dancing and crafts
- 12:00 PM -- Lunch and games
- 1:00 PM -- Language 2 and singing
- 2:30 PM -- Parents join kids for hot tea, welsh cakes, and bara brith
- 3:00 PM -- End of activities
